Fun day at the Zoo

This week we had a public holiday here in South Africa, and so decided to do a family outing to the zoo. I honestly cannot remember the last time i went to the zoo, i think i was in youth and we did a service project.

we were worried that it would be a freezing cold day and no sunlight, as just 2 days prior we had snow in JHB, yes you read right, and i am sure it has been on the news...we had SNOW!! 

but as it turns out, it was a beautiful day, and not to cold, and not to hot. And the perfect opportunity to test out my new Cannon 600D :) Hope you enjoy the photos

One thing you can be sure of when there is a "3" year old around, your life will never have a dull moment.

Gotta love moments like these!

Yesterday after i had gotten back from church, i popped over next door, M & C where busy painting and B just wanted to come with me to "my house", where as three year olds do, look in every nook and cranny until they find something interesting. in this case it was my camera, so in optimism of him being a good boy, and of course to keep him busy, so....we brought it along and wala *thinks about spelling...probably wrong but o well*

he truly is the cutest little thing around, and makes my life that much brighter and interesting :)
